Kềnh (gender unknown)
H’mông people; Mouth organ with 6 pipes (in 2 parallel rows), 1 of which is mute (a dummy without a reed); Played, by men only, it is primarily used at funerals, but also as a solo instrument at (festive) gatherings of youngsters, to accompany dances, and in ensembles; Dances accompanied by a Kềnh are a combination of gesture dance and martial arts (dance movements).
Blowpipe with wind chest (a conical wooden tube: 740 mm), with bamboo pipes (480- 970 mm [high pitch] or 600-1200 mm [low pitch]; Ø 10-15 mm).
