From "měch" [bellows]; In several sources erroneously spelt "Mechawa"; The fleece of the skin is inside; Used, in combination with the Wěrowanske huslički (a small fiddle), to accompany wedding processions; Earliest depiction found: a sculpture of ca. 1730 in Schmochtitz Castle [today’s Bischof-Benno-Haus], NW of Bautzen;
