On dit d’un poltron, quand il a peur, qu’on lui boucherait le trou du cul avec un grain de millet.” [Fear, dread, fright. It is said of a coward, when he is afraid that one would plug his asshole with a grain of millet], and which refers in its turn to "Mai-mai" (➺ p.261), the definition of which is "Peur, craint, tranche: on a peur de l’objet qui paraît nuisible, et crainte d’un mal à venir, dont on est menacé."
