Zampogna cornette (f)

Term used by Tommaso Marino for his largest Zampogna a chiave, which he also called a chiavi’nteri; In size it corresponds with the Zampogna № 15 (16) of the Serre region (prov. Catanzaro); In Mesoraca it is played together with a Bifera called sopra-tono, which is shawm, pitched 1 octave higher; NB: ➺ similar terms.
