Przedni rożek (m)
sound enhancing end of a chanter
Word order in Kopoczek and Pilecki; The "knee / elbow" of the chanter, without bell; There are two types: 1) Made from one large cattle horn; This was possible, because the old breeds of mountain cattle had hard, magnificent horns with thick "walls"; 2) Made of several overlapping rings; This technique is applied, because traditional mountain shepherding had disappeared, and modern breeding cattle have small horns with comparatively thin "walls", forcing builders to join them; ➺ Rożek (przedni).
NB: ➺ Rożek (tone / sound).
