Kozioł (m)

plural: Kozły
he-goat

Bagpipe (unknown type)

Identical types: 100

Generic name of some Polish bagpipe types; According to Marcuse, who adds its meaning ("he-goat"), erroneously (if not ludicrously) claiming it to be a synonym of Koza [the literal translation of which is "she-goat" I]; According to Podnos, a synonym of Ukrainian Koza, dubiously referring to Baines, utterly misinterpreting the latter’s text.
NB: ➺ the various types of Kozioł.

Kojol, Kosiol, Kozieł, Koziot
