(with) definite article: CiînpoiulAccording to Habenicht, mentioned in a 16th century Romanian translation of the "Act of the Apostles" (Actus apostolorum) as: "Întru glasurele ciînpoiloru" [At the sounds of bagpipes]. NB¹: Alexandru refers to the 15th century »Codice Voroneţian« (published 1885 in Cernăuti [Чернівці (Černivci), Ukraine]), unfortunately spelling the quotation incorrectly as "glasurle [sic] ciînpoiloru" [Google translation (2023): "the voices of dogs" [sic]]; NB²: ➺ Ciânpoi.
