Spelling used among the Aromanians (a subgroup of the Vlachs), who (according to Wiktionary) live throughout the southern Balkans, especially in northern Greece, southern and central Albania, parts of Macedonia [state], southwestern Bulgaria and Serbia; NB¹: The language is, however, also spoken in Romania, where the Aromanians, who don't seem to have their own bagpipe, use the name for the Cimpoi; NB²: ➺ homonyms, &c. (incl. Gaida and Gaita).
