Sibs / Sibz (gender unknown)
(with) definite article: ?original: ?
Hornpipe without a mouthpiece
Transliteration in Elsner/Jabès, who refer to it as a synonym of Ġāb; NB¹: Oddly, the authors referred to this term previously (on the same page) as a synonym of Arġul ġāb (!), adding that this tem (Sibs (also Sibz) is also "used by the folk musicians to denote several small, high-pitched types of wind instruments of the class of flutes, oboes and clarinets"; NB²: ➺ also Sibs ġāb.
