Born [and lived?] in Jaworzynka-Zagronia (municipality Istebna); A very good craftsman, who made Gajdy and so-called "putnie" (wooden utensils); Being self-taught, he did not only play the Gajdy, but violin, trumpet and drum, as well; His son Józef (?-?) adopted his talent for music; An uncle of Jan Bury.
