Though closely related to Cranning, a Tripling is neither limited to d¹ and e¹ as target notes, nor in pitches of gracenotes used; Executed with 3 gracenotes of 2-3 different pitches depending on the target note:

c²-d¹-g¹-d¹-g¹-d¹; c²-e¹-g¹-e¹-d♯¹-e¹ or g¹-e¹-g¹-e¹-d♯¹-e¹; c²-f♯¹ ⇢g¹-f♯¹-e¹-f♯¹ or g¹-f♯¹-g¹-f♯¹-e¹-f♯¹; c²-g¹-a¹-g¹-f♯¹-g¹; &c.
