Moesel (gender unknown)

(with) definite article: de

original: moeſel

Moezel

From a Christmas carol, recorded (1908) in Tielen (Kempen region, prov. Antwerp) by Theofiel Peeters, published in his book »Oudkempische volksliederen en dansen«, vol. I (Brussels, 1952); Kiliaan, who spells it Moeſel, seems to consider it a synonym of Sack-pijpe and refers to Tibia vtricularis; NB: ➺ Quene.
