Born and lived in Istebna [S of Wisła]; He was a carpenter, who built "goralskie chałupy" [Mountaineers’ cottages], and also a woodcarver; Being an uncommonly talented creator, he also repaired watches, meticulously making their smallest parts; As a piper he played, among others, together with violinists Paweł Michałek "z Kubitkule" [a hamlet of Istebna; ws] and Jan Juroszek "Przigóniok"; He even went to play, together with his son Jan ("Skotniorek"), "na Uhry" (literally "in Hungary", now actually Slovakia); He also made musical instruments, especially Gajdy, which he sold, before 1914, even to America, and in Istebna he was an irreplaceable specialist in repairing violins; He had at least one other son, who was probably Paweł; Katarzyna & Maciej Szymonowiczowie refer to him as Pavel Krenżelok (1895-ca.1970) "Gawlonczior" [of Gawlonka [i.e. Havlanka], a hamlet at the foot of mountain Gírová [NW of Hrčava], CZ); ws], who played the violin together with Pavel Zogata "Gajdek" (CZ), and got married in Hyrczawa [i.e. Hrčava, a village in Moravian Silesia, CZ; ws]; NB: ➺ Jan Kawulok "uod Wojtosza", and Alojzy Kuźma.
