[Born, lived and worked?] in ?; Father of Donato and Antonio [1]; He is the first of the D’Agostino family who certainly was a bagpipe maker, and it seems that the family nickname "di Silvestro" derives from a kind of widely spread mythical genealogy in the region; His father Domenico (1794-?) almost surely was a maker as well, but the profession of his grandfather Silvestro (?-?) is not known; No additional details found.
