Born in Gandino; A carpenter and bell-ringer; NB: Note the erroneous spelling (Pincinali [!]) in the caption to the photo of Quirino’s instrument in the internet source (tiscali.it), in which the nickname "Batistì [sic] de Ca da Pozz" is ascribed to Picinali (➺ the notice "Text and images are taken from" Valter Biella's book of 2000 !), whereas Biella in »La zampogna...« (a cura di Gioielli) calls him "Manot" (twice); NB: ➺ Valentino Savoldelli !
