Born in Paulilatino (prov. Oristano) [hence his nickname], he lived in Cabras (prov. Oristano); Brother of Daniele; According to Giovanni Dore (➺ »Launeddas« (a cura di Giampaolo Lallai)) he was "endowed with a great talent, and currently [i.e. in the late 1990s; ws] the only in the Cabras area who made and played the launeddas".
