1937 still active; Lived in Zelovo; One of the 15 most renowned Diple makers in his village (3 of whom bear the same family name [relatives?]: Ivan, Marko and Petar); Mason of profession, he manufactured Diples in his spare time and sold them at fairs and "derneke" [parties?]; Made wooden parts and reeds only?; 2 of his Diples are now in the Ethnographic Museum in Zagreb (inv. nos. 9928, 9929); Širola states that, by tradition, almost every farmer in Zelovo was able to make a Diple, because, as the oldest villagers said, "they have been making them since the village was founded".
