Trebunia-Tutka, Jan

Born and lived in Poronin [NNE of Zakopane]; In 1924 he married Ludwina, daughter of Stanisław Budz-Lepsiok "Mroz"; They had four sons and one daughter; All their sons (Stanisław [also known as Stanisław Budz-Mróz Młodszy [the younger]], Henryk (*1932), Andrzej (*?) and Władysław (1942-2012)) "inherited" the musical talent of their maternal grandfather and father; Today [i.e. 2015; ws], Krzysztof Trebunia-Tutka (*1970), an architect who plays the Złóbcoki (a kind of fiddle) and other pastoral instruments, follows the track of his famous great-grandfather, leading the popular family band called (Kapela Rodzinna) "Trebunie-Tutki" and the Kapela "Śleboda".
