Probably born in the second half of the 19th century; It is not known whether "Błażek" is his name or a nickname (According to Katarzyna & Maciej Szymanowiczowie his "pseudonym"); Stefan Marian Stoiński mentions this gajdziorz in his »Dudy Żywieckie« [The bagpipe of Żywiec], in Gronie 1;1-3 (Żywiec, 1938), and he is also mentioned by one of the contemporary gajdziorze, Czesław Węglarz (*1957) of Cisiec; NB: ➺ [Błażej?] Stańco.
