Chanter
single chanter: conical, straight, no bell / double reed
According to Sachs, "in the modern types all pipes are stopped", and according to Leydi, the chanter is cylindrical; According to the NPO website, however, it is conical and open, so I decided to adopt the details of the latter type.
Key: G (b-b², chromatic); With 17 keys.
NB: Example(s) to be replaced with staff-notation.
