Piob mor / Piob morh

big / large / great, or war pipe [?]
Highland bagpipe

Piob mor: Erroneous "Gaelic" spelling of [Gaidhlig] Pìob mhór in Marcuse, who fails to reveal her source; NB¹: Piob morh is an equally incorrect spelling in Stainer; NB²: The seemingly incorrect spelling biob in the Archive.org edition is an unfortunate misprint of piob (NB³: compare the spelling of Welsh pibau at the end of the sentence, and the correct spelling (in common italics) in the Google edition; ws); NB4): ➺ War pipe.
