Set (of pipes)
term used for an instrument as a whole (e.g. a very good set / an old set / a rare set)
The instrument as a whole, as available at a particular moment, i.e. a piper may say "That man makes very good sets", or "Now I’ll play a tune on this flat set", or (proudly) "I have a beautiful old set here", &c.; NB: Compare Pìob-chiùil (Scotland).
