Regulator accompaniment of either short or long tones; Played by the Bass regulator only, which is alternated by, or participates in (thus complementing) the rhythmic chords executed on the tenor and baritone regulators; The bass regulator is played with the front part of the heel of the hand, the tenor and baritone with the rest of the heel, or the wrist itself.
