Cuislennach [?] (gender unknown)

(with) definite article: ?
plural: Cuislennaigh; (with) definite article: ?
pipe blower(s)
Cuisleannach

From Eugene O’Curry, »Music and musical instruments in ancient Erinn« (1873); O’Neill, who clearly intended to quote O’Curry verbally, erroneously uses the plural form twice, translating the second, however, in concordance with the singular in O’Curry’s text, as "pipe blower", adding that, according to O'Curry., "a Cuislennaigh was a different person from the Pipaire or piper"; NB: ➺ Cuislinnach.
