plural: Pisci, Piski, or Piskovireed consisting of a base (the Body) with a vibrating blade (the Tongue)

Made of elder (Sambucus nigra) or cane (Arundo donax, usually cut with a natural node, sometimes smoothened with beeswax, stopping the upper end of the reed base.
NB: According to Kuhač, "… made of rogoz [lit: bull-rush / sedge / reed (a type of cane?; ➺ internet link below)], and on top well plugged".
