Mentioned (in brackets) by Kuhač, who labels this name as being "better" (bolje) [than Gajde]; According to Širola, it is a name used in eastern Slavonija with the Srijem region, Bačka, Banat, and northern Serbia; According to Gojković, it is, however, an old name that has survived in prov. Užice (western Serbia; NB¹:➺ also Gadlji); NB²: ➺ homonyms.
