Probably the dialect spelling of Gajdoszek; in Szymonowiczowie mentioned, "according to the oldest records", as one of the three terms for a Gajdy player in the Beskid mountains of Żywiec (➺ Gajdos [sic], Gajdziorz); They also mention the term twice in the opening line ("Ej, gajdosku z gajdami zabiyroj sie* z nami…" [Hey piper with [your] gajdy, join us…]) of the Żywiec Beskid mountaineers’ song "Na gróniu w karczmiczce" [In the little inn in the mountains (actually, "karczmiczka" is the endearing form of "karczma" [inn])], once in a story told by Jan Kawulok „uod Wojtosza“ (1899-1976), and once referring to S.M. Stoiński »Dudy Żywieckie« (Żywiec, 1938) as their source; *NB: in standard Polish "zabiyroj sie" is spelt "zabieraj się".
