Glasnica (f)
plural: Glasniceoriginal: гласница (гласнице)
each of the tone producing holes of a chanter or semidrone
Literally translated as "vocal chord(s)", the relation to глас (glas [voice / sound / tone]) is obvious; According to Gojković, who oddly refers to Širola as her source, "the fingerholes of the Gajda [sic] in Svrljig"; As such I haven't encountered the term, however, neither in Širola nor in other sources; NB: ➺ homonyms.
Gojković, Andrijana: Narodni muzički instrumenti [Folk musical instruments]. Beograd, 1979 (Glasnice 2: »Širola [129] [?]).
