Cournet (m)

(with) definite article: le
(the) small horn
Caramèl

According to Fernand Delzangles, »Danses et chansons de danses d’Auvergne« (Aurillac, 1930), "un corne qui fait le soprano"; NB¹: ➺ Cornet (Bourbonnais, with the identical definition [and, probably, a similar pronunciation]; NB²: Considering the exact repetition of Delzangles' observation, I wonder which of the spellings he actually used); NB³: Perre's reference to an additional (small) drone (mentioned in footnote 3 on p.97) seems to be based on a misunderstanding, because it is definitely not visible in the illustrations shown.
