Open roll
gracing technique (in order of complexity / frequency): a32
Triplet gracing for notes played in Open piping; The finger movements are identical to those in a roll in Close piping, but the pat becomes a hardly audible gracenote, because the lower chanter holes are uncovered:
b¹-d²-b¹-a¹-b¹; a¹-d²-a¹-g¹-a¹; g¹-a¹-g¹-f♯¹-g¹; f♯¹-a¹-f♯¹-e¹-f♯¹; e¹-a¹-e¹-d¹-e¹.
