·? (reed, single, idioglot, up-cut [Term not mentioned in available sources])
idioglot single reed with the vibrating end of its tongue facing the bore of the tube in which it is inserted
According to Tucci, who fails to name the term (➺ my remark to Cannuccia), this reed type is preferred in the Zampogna a paro and a la moderna [sic (➺ Zampogna a(lla) moderna)*; ws]; *NB: Tucci possibly intended to refer to the Zampogna moderna, instead, but the confusing designation leaves us guessing.
Made of cane (Arundo donax).
