An instrument of small dimensions with cane pipes, intended for boys (of 8-10 years old) to learn the Zampogna technique; Extinct since a few decades now [i.e. 2005; ws], the documenation of its existence and phases of construction has been made possible by Michele Strollo, Antonio Russo, Rocco Carbone and Leone Luongo of Colliano (prov. Salerno); NB¹: Its terminology is, with a few exceptions, identical to that of the Zampogna of Campania; NB²: ➺ homonyms, &c.

The small bag, usually goat or lamb, was sometimes also made from catskin.
